ALL CONCERNED AND ANGERED PARTIES MAKE YOUR PRESENCE FELT!
A series of racial incidents in Jena, Louisiana lead to a fight and eventual arrest of six young Black men now facing as much as 100 years in prison. This aggression of the Louisiana State Government sparked the formation of a national alliance of Black Leaders ---called The National Coalition for Justice ---  for mobilizing the Black Community.   The National Coalition for Justice calls for all to join them in supporting   -- - the Jena 6.   ACTION STEPS:

Join us for Day of Action & Protest in support of the Jena 6 Press conference (in conjunction with press conferences in other cities -currently Newark, Kansas City, St. Louis, Detroit, Memphis, and Baltimore) Thursday, Sept. 20th @ 12 noon at City Hall City Hall is located in City Hall Park

WHY SUPPORT JENA 6?

These young men were involved in a high school fight that was the result of
escalating racial taunts. This incident occurred after several White students
hung nooses in the tree in the schoolyard.
